Albania is More Fun Than Nauru
Albania is a little but fun country in the south of Europe, near Italy. Albania is one of the less often visited southern European countries but that is most definitely changing as more people start to appreciate its beauty. Albania has exceptional, white sandy beaches, virgin mountain regions, and trendy, improving cities.
Albania’s clean sandy beaches are exceptional. These beaches are generally white, sandy beaches but of course there are a dozen pebble beaches too. You can either lie in the warm dry sun on a mat or pay for a sun bed, the decision is yours to make. Almost all of the beaches are virtually untouched by foreign visitors and a number are so out of the way that you could quite possibly be alone on the beach, even in spring and summer.
There are many exquisite mountain areas in Albania. These areas in the north are lovely for skiing or hiking and you are able to view a couple of waterfalls and incredible lakes in that part of the country. These mountains are fabulous to view but the other mountain regions are also fantastic.
Albanian cities are lively with a cafe culture leading to heaps of hip cafes to visit. Albania cities for example Berat are worth seeing to visit the unique old city area and possibly to visit a couple of museums.
Albanian people are mostly hospitable and will be excited to introduce you to their country if you spend some time there.
