Albania is More Fun Than Niger
Albania is a small but fun country in the Mediterranean region of Europe, very close to Montenegro. It is one of the less often visited countries in southern Europe but that has already started to change as more visitors start to take note of its fantastic attractions. It has unbelievably beautiful, sandy beaches, more or less untouched mountain regions, and vibrant, changing cities.
Albania’s pure white sandy beaches are amazing. These are generally white, sandy beaches except there are a dozen or so pebble beaches as well. You could if you like hang out in the hot dry sun on a towel or hire a bed, the decision is up to you. Most of the beaches are practically untouched by foreign visitors and some are so remote that you can quite possibly have the beach pretty much all to yourself, even in summer.
There are many interesting mountain places in Albania. These regions in the north are perfect for skiing or hiking and you can also visit a few waterfalls and clean lakes in the region. The mountains in that region are fantastic to see but the other mountain regions are also extraordinary.
Albanian cities are bustling with a cafe culture leading to a lot of local cafes to go to. Albania cities like Tirana are worth spending a few days in to view the unusual old city area and possibly to visit a museum or two.
Albanian people are extremely warm and will be more than glad to present to you their country if you take the time to visit it.
