Avoid The Crowds by Holidaying in Albania Not Afghanistan

Albania is a small but pretty country in south eastern Europe, very close to Serbia. Albania is one of the least visited Mediterranean countries but that is slowly changing as tourists start to take notice of its amazing attractions. This country has beautiful, white sandy beaches, almost virgin mountain regions, and bustling, improving cities.

Albania’s pure white sandy beaches are lovely. They are most often white, sandy beaches but there are some pebble beaches as well. You could spend time in the warm sun on a towel or hire a sun bed, the choice is yours to make. Almost all of the beaches are totally untouched by foreigners and a few are so quiet that you could quite possibly have the beach pretty much to yourself, even in August.

There are a number of mountain areas in Albania. These areas in the north are brilliant for skiing or hiking and you can see plenty of waterfalls and astonishing lakes in the region. These mountains are amazing to see but the other mountain regions are also amazing.

Albanian cities are vibrant with a cafe culture meaning there are plenty of busy cafes to relax in. Albania cities like Elbasan are worth seeing to view the historic old city area and possibly to visit a museum or two.

The Albanian people are mostly welcoming and will be glad to present to you their country if you are there.
