Albania is a tiny but fantastic country in the south of Europe, neighbouring Kosovo. This country is one of the least visited southern European countries but that is slowly changing as more people notice its fantastic sites. It has wonderful, sandy beaches, pristine mountain regions, and young, expanding cities.

Albania’s pure white sandy beaches are exceptional. They are usually white, sandy beaches but of course there are a few pebble beaches as well. You could either lie in the warm sun on a rug or get a sunbed, the option is up to you. Most of the beaches are practically untouched by foreigners and some are so quiet that you could have the beach to yourself, even in in the peak season.

There are plenty of fantastic mountain landscapes in Albania. The mountainous areas in the north are brilliant for skiing or hiking and you can possibly see a lot of waterfalls and spectacular lakes in the area. The mountains in that area are wonderful to visit but the other mountain regions are also beautiful.

Albanian cities are extremely vibrant with a cafe culture resulting in so many great cafes to visit. Albania cities for example Vlora are worth spending a few days in to visit the unusual old city area and not to mention to visit a few museums.

The Albanian people are extremely friendly and will be glad to introduce you to their country if you take the time to visit.
