Vacation in Albania Not Morocco
Albania is a tiny but great country in the Mediterranean region of Europe, not too far from Croatia. This country is currently one of the less popular southern European countries but that is slowly changing as more people start to take notice of its wonderful attractions. It has beautiful, pure white sandy beaches, virtually untouched mountain regions, and happening, changing cities.
Albania’s clean sandy beaches are wonderful. They are normally white, sandy beaches although of course there are a dozen pebble beaches as well. You could if you want lie in the hot dry sun on a blanket or pay for a sun bed, the decision is up to you. Many of the beaches are really untouched by visitors and a number are so remote that you could quite possibly have the beach all to yourself, even in summer.
There are plenty of exquisite mountain places in Albania. These regions in the north are fantastic for skiing or hiking and you can visit a lot of waterfalls and fabulous lakes in the region. The mountains in that area are fantastic to see but the other mountain regions are also brilliant.
Albanian cities are vibrant with a cafe culture so there are plenty of cool cafes to hang out in. Albania cities for example Kukes are worth spending a few days in to visit the historic old city area and also to visit a few museums.
People from Albania are extremely hospitable and will be more than pleased to show you around their country if you spend time there.
