Vacation in Albania Not Navassa Island
Albania is a very small but very adorable country in the Balkan region, neighbouring Italy. It’s probably the least visited countries in southern Europe but that is changing as more tourists start to take note of its fantastic attractions. It has extraordinary, pure white sandy beaches, virtually untouched mountain regions, and trendy, improving cities.
Albania’s sandy beaches are unbelievably beautiful. Albanian beaches are generally white, sandy beaches but there are some pebble beaches also. You could either sit down in the warm dry sun on a mat or lease a sun lounge, the choice is up to you. Almost all of the beaches are pretty much untouched by foreigners and some are so quiet that you can be alone on the beach, even in in the peak season.
There are many mountain regions in Albania. The mountainous areas in the north are ideal for skiing or hiking and you can visit plenty of waterfalls and fabulous lakes in the area. The mountains in that region are great to visit but the other mountain regions are also brilliant.
Albanian cities are extremely lively with a cafe culture so there are many great cafes to go to. Albania cities for example Shkodra are worth taking the time to visit to see the unusual old city area and also to visit a museum.
Albanian people are extremely hospitable and will be glad to show you around their country if you take the time to visit it.
