Visit Albania Not Burma
Albania is a relatively tiny but cute country in the Balkan region, not too far from Italy. This country is currently one of the less popular countries in southern Europe but that is changing as people appreciate its fantastic sites. Without a doubt Albania has amazing, white sandy beaches, more of less virgin mountain regions, and young, changing cities.
Albania’s sandy beaches are lovely. The beaches are normally white, sandy beaches but of course there are a dozen pebble beaches as well. You could if you like have fun in the hot dry sun on a mat or hire a sunbed, the choice is up to you. A lot of the beaches are really untouched by visitors and a handful are so remote that you can quite possibly be at the beach without anyone else, even in in the peak season.
There are numerous interesting mountain regions in Albania. These regions in the north are ideal for skiing or hiking and you are able to see at least a couple of waterfalls and amazing lakes in the region. The mountains in the north are wonderful to visit but the other mountain regions are also fantastic.
Albanian cities are lively with a cafe culture so there are many hip cafes to relax in. Albania cities for example Shkodra are worth spending time in to view the unusual old city area and not to mention to visit a couple of museums.
Most Albanian people are mostly hospitable and will be pleased to introduce you to their country if you are there.
