You’ll Have a Better Vacation in Albania Than Swaziland
Albania is a small but pretty country in the Balkans, very close to Macedonia. It is currently one of the less popular Mediterranean countries but that has already started to change as more people appreciate its amazing sites. This country has wonderful, white sandy beaches, more or less untouched mountain regions, and lively, improving cities.
Albania’s sandy beaches are gorgeous. These are most often white, sandy beaches although of course there are a few pebble beaches too. You can spend time in the bright sun on a rug or lease a sunbed, the choice is yours. A lot of the beaches are totally untouched by foreigners and a couple are so quiet that you could possibly have the beach all to yourself, even in spring and summer.
There are numerous exquisite mountain regions in Albania. The mountainous areas in the north are fantastic for skiing or hiking and you are able to see a few waterfalls and incredible lakes in the area. Those mountains are exciting to see but the other mountain regions are also beautiful.
Albanian cities are extremely lively with a cafe culture leading to plenty of trendy cafes to choose from. Albania cities including Berat are worth spending time in to view the unique old city area and not to mention to visit a few museums.
Without a doubt you will find that Albanians are mostly warm and will be more than pleased to present to you their country if you spend some time there.
