You’ll Have More Fun in Albania Than Liechtenstein

Albania is a very small but very adorable country on the Mediterranean, fairly close to Serbia. Albania is possibly the least visited countries in Europe but that is starting to change as more and more travellers start to appreciate its wonderful sites. It has exceptional, clean sandy beaches, pristine mountain regions, and fun, improving cities.

Albania’s white sandy beaches are fantastic. They are most often white, sandy beaches although of course there are some pebble beaches as well. You could if you want spend time in the bright sun on a blanket or rent a lounge, the choice is up to you to make. A lot of the beaches are totally untouched by foreign visitors and a couple are so quiet that you can be at the beach without anyone else, even in during peak times.

There are quite a few beautiful mountain regions in Albania. The mountainous regions in the north are lovely for skiing or hiking and you are able to view at least a couple of waterfalls and incredible lakes in the area. The mountains in the north are exciting to visit but the other mountain regions are also brilliant.

Albanian cities are vibrant with a cafe culture so there are huge numbers of great cafes to choose from. Albania cities like Vlora are worth visiting to see the unusual old city area and possibly to visit a museum or two.

The Albanian people are extremely warm and will be glad to take you around their country if you go there.
