You’ll Have More Fun in Albania Than Thailand
Albania is a very small but fantastic country in southern Europe, close to Greece. This country is one of the less popular Mediterranean countries but that is slowly changing as more and more tourists take note of its amazing beauty. Without a doubt Albania has unbelievable, white sandy beaches, pristine mountain regions, and young, growing cities.
Albania’s clean sandy beaches are wonderful. These beaches are normally white, sandy beaches but of course there are a dozen pebble beaches also. You could either have fun in the hot sun on a rug or pay for a lounge, the decision is yours to make. Most of the beaches are really untouched by foreign visitors and some are so out of the way that you could be at the beach alone, even in in the peak season.
There are a number of mountain regions in Albania. The mountainous areas in the north are exceptional for skiing or hiking and you can possibly see a lot of waterfalls and pristine lakes in that part of the country. The mountains in that region are wonderful to see but the other mountain regions are also fantastic.
Albanian cities are very vibrant with a cafe culture resulting in hundreds of great cafes to relax in. Albania cities for example Saranda are worth spending time in to see the unique old city area and also to visit a few museums.
You will most likely find that Albanians are very warm and will be glad to show you their country if you spend time there.
