Albania is Better Than Bosnia and Herzegovina
Albania is a fairly small but amazing country in the Mediterranean region of Europe, not too far from Serbia. Albania is one of the least visited European countries but that is most definitely changing as more visitors take note of its amazing beauty. Without a doubt Albania has exceptional, clean sandy beaches, more of less virgin mountain regions, and happening, changing cities.
Albania’s clean sandy beaches are beautiful. Albanian beaches are most often white, sandy beaches except there are a dozen or so pebble beaches too. You can lie down in the hot sun on a towel or pay for a bed, the decision is yours. A lot of the beaches are virtually untouched by visitors and some are so remote that you could possibly have the beach pretty much all to yourself, even in summer.
There are quite a few mountainous areas in Albania. Those in the north are great for skiing or hiking and you can possibly see a couple of waterfalls and astonishing lakes in that part of the country. These mountains are wonderful to see but the other mountain regions are also extraordinary.
Albanian cities are extremely lively with a cafe culture so there are so many cool cafes to choose from. Albania cities including Durres are worth seeing to see the unusual old city area and also to visit a couple of museums.
Most Albanian people are mostly warm and will be more than pleased to show you around their country if you spend some time there.
