Albania is Better Than Tokelau
Albania is a very small but adorable country in southern Europe, not far from Greece. It is possibly the least visited Mediterranean countries but that is changing as more and more tourists start to take note of its wonderful beauty. This country has lovely, sandy beaches, pristine mountain regions, and trendy, expanding cities.
Albania’s pure white sandy beaches are fantastic. They are most often white, sandy beaches but of course there are a few pebble beaches as well. You could if you like sit in the warm sun on a rug or rent a sunbed, the option is yours. Almost all of the beaches are practically untouched by tourists and a couple are so remote that you can quite possibly have the beach all to yourself, even in spring and summer.
There are a number of fantastic mountain areas in Albania. The mountains in the north are fantastic for skiing or hiking and you can possibly visit plenty of waterfalls and perfect lakes in that part of the country. The mountains in that area are wonderful to visit but the other mountain regions are also extraordinary.
Albanian cities are extremely lively with a cafe culture meaning there are so many busy cafes to choose from. Albania cities like Tropoja are worth taking the time to visit to visit the historic old city area and possibly to visit a museum or two.
Most Albanian people are extremely warm and will be more than happy to present to you their country if you spend time there.
