Albania is a small but pretty country on the Mediterranean, close to Greece. This country is one of the least visited Mediterranean countries but that will change before you know it as people take note of its fantastic sites. Albania has gorgeous, pure white sandy beaches, virgin mountain regions, and fun, changing cities.
Albania’s clean sandy beaches are wonderful. These beaches are generally white, sandy beaches but of course there are a handful of pebble beaches also. You could if you like lie down in the hot sun on a rug or rent a sun bed, the choice is up to you to make. Most of the beaches are pretty much untouched by foreign visitors and a few are so remote that you can have the beach all to yourself, even in in during popular times.
There are quite a few interesting mountain regions in Albania. These regions in the north are lovely for skiing or hiking and you can possibly view a few waterfalls and amazing lakes in the region. The mountains in the north are great to visit but the other mountain regions are also fantastic.
Albanian cities are extremely vibrant with a cafe culture so there are hundreds of hip cafes to hang out in. Albania cities like Berat are worth visiting to visit the unique old city area and possibly to visit a museum or two.
Albanian people are extremely hospitable and will be pleased to introduce you to their country if you spend some time there.
