Avoid The Crowds by Vacationing in Albania Not Guernsey

Albania is a tiny but beautiful country on the Mediterranean, near Kosovo. It’s one of the less often visited European countries but that has already started to change as more visitors come to appreciate its wonderful attractions. Without a doubt Albania has gorgeous, clean sandy beaches, pretty much untouched mountain regions, and bustling, improving cities.

Albania’s sandy beaches are gorgeous. Albanian beaches are most often white, sandy beaches but there are a dozen or so pebble beaches also. You could spend time in the hot dry sun on a rug or lease a bed, the decision is yours to make. A lot of the beaches are more or less untouched by tourists and a handful are so quiet that you could possibly be at the beach alone, even in August.

There are plenty of fantastic mountain places in Albania. These areas in the north are brilliant for skiing or hiking and you are able to see plenty of waterfalls and amazing lakes in the area. Those mountains are wonderful to view but the other mountain regions are also fantastic.

Albanian cities are extremely lively with a cafe culture so there are huge numbers of local cafes to go to. Albania cities like Berat are worth spending time in to see the unique old city area and also to visit a museum or two.

You will most likely find that Albanians are very warm and will be happy to introduce you to their country if you take the time to visit.
