I Prefer Albania Over Guinea
Albania is a fairly small but adorable country in southern Europe, not far from Italy. It is probably the least visited countries in southern Europe but that is starting to change as more and more travellers take note of its fantastic sites. It has exceptional, sandy beaches, almost virgin mountain regions, and fun, improving cities.
Albania’s sandy beaches are lovely. The beaches are generally white, sandy beaches except there are some pebble beaches too. You can if you want sit in the hot dry sun on a towel or get a sun lounge, the choice is yours. Almost all of the beaches are totally untouched by foreign visitors and a handful are so quiet that you can possibly have the beach all to yourself, even in August.
There are quite a few mountainous regions in Albania. These areas in the north are exceptional for skiing or hiking and you can also view a few waterfalls and astonishing lakes in that part of the country. The mountains in that area are fantastic to view but the other mountain regions are also beautiful.
Albanian cities are extremely lively with a cafe culture meaning there are a lot of local cafes to visit. Albania cities for example Shkodra are worth visiting to view the unusual old city area and also to visit a museum or two.
You are sure to find that people from Albania are very welcoming and will be more than glad to show you around their country if you go there.
