Visit Albania Not Belarus
Albania is a very small but very cute country on the Mediterranean, not too far from Montenegro. It’s quite possibly the least visited countries in the Mediterranean but that is about to change as tourists start to appreciate its wonderful beauty. Albania has amazing, clean sandy beaches, virtually untouched mountain regions, and fun, expanding cities.
Albania’s white sandy beaches are unbelievable. They are usually white, sandy beaches although of course there are a few pebble beaches as well. You could either have fun in the hot sun on a blanket or rent a sun lounge, the option is up to you to make. Plenty of the beaches are totally untouched by foreign tourists and a handful are so quiet that you can quite possibly have the beach pretty much to yourself, even in in the peak season.
There are a number of mountain regions in Albania. These areas in the north are lovely for skiing or hiking and you can also see a couple of waterfalls and astonishing lakes in the area. The mountains in the north are wonderful to view but the other mountain regions are also beautiful.
Albanian cities are extremely vibrant with a cafe culture so there are hundreds of cool cafes to choose from. Albania cities including Elbasan are worth seeing to see the unusual old city area and also to visit a couple of museums.
Most Albanian people are mostly warm and will be pleased to introduce you to their country if you spend time there.
