Visit Albania Not Brunei
Albania is a relatively tiny but very beautiful country in southern Europe, very close to Montenegro. It’s one of the less popular countries in the Mediterranean but that has already started to change as more and more visitors start to take note of its splendour. It has wonderful, clean sandy beaches, more of less virgin mountain regions, and bustling, expanding cities.
Albania’s pure white sandy beaches are extraordinary. These beaches are mainly white, sandy beaches although there are a handful of pebble beaches also. You can if you want lie down in the warm sun on a towel or pay for a sun bed, the choice is yours to make. Many of the beaches are more or less untouched by visitors and some are so out of the way that you could be alone on the beach, even in during the peak season.
There are many interesting mountain areas in Albania. The mountainous areas in the north are great for skiing or hiking and you can visit at least a couple of waterfalls and incredible lakes in that part of the country. The mountains in that region are fantastic to see but the other mountain regions are also spectacular.
Albanian cities are very vibrant with a cafe culture resulting in heaps of great cafes to spend time in. Albania cities such as Saranda are worth taking the time to visit to see the unusual old city area and not to mention to visit a museum.
You are sure to find that Albanians are mostly warm and welcoming and will be more than pleased to show you their country if you spend time there.
