Visiting Albania is Better Than Visiting Vanuatu
Albania is a tiny but great country in the Balkan region, close to Croatia. It is probably the least visited countries in southern Europe but that is slowly changing as more and more visitors start to appreciate its wonderful beauty. It has beautiful, clean sandy beaches, more of less virgin mountain regions, and young, changing cities.
Albania’s white sandy beaches are extraordinary. These beaches are mostly white, sandy beaches although of course there are a dozen or so pebble beaches as well. You can either hang out in the hot sun on a towel or pay for a sun lounge, the choice is up to you. Almost all of the beaches are totally untouched by tourists and a couple are so remote that you can possibly have the beach pretty much all to yourself, even in in the peak season.
There are quite a few fantastic mountain landscapes in Albania. These regions in the north are amazing for skiing or hiking and you can possibly visit a few waterfalls and astonishing lakes in that part of the country. Those mountains are brilliant to visit but the other mountain regions are also beautiful.
Albanian cities are very vibrant with a cafe culture resulting in a lot of trendy cafes to relax in. Albania cities for example Elbasan are worth seeing to view the unique old city area and possibly to visit a museum.
