You’ll Have a Better Holiday in Albania Than Iceland
Albania is a small but fantastic country in south eastern Europe, close to Italy. It is quite possibly the least visited European countries but that is starting to change as more visitors become aware of its fantastic attractions. This country has unbelievably beautiful, sandy beaches, more or less untouched mountain regions, and fun, expanding cities.
Albania’s clean sandy beaches are extraordinary. These are most often white, sandy beaches but there are a dozen pebble beaches too. You can either have fun in the bright sun on a rug or get a bed, the decision is up to you to make. Plenty of the beaches are pretty much untouched by tourists and a handful are so remote that you could quite possibly be at the beach without anyone else, even in in during popular times.
There are many interesting mountain places in Albania. The mountainous regions in the north are exceptional for skiing or hiking and you can view a lot of waterfalls and astonishing lakes in the region. The mountains in that area are brilliant to visit but the other mountain regions are also brilliant.
Albanian cities are very vibrant with a cafe culture meaning there are heaps of local cafes to hang out in. Albania cities like Elbasan are worth taking the time to visit to see the unusual old city area and not to mention to visit a museum.
Albanian people are mostly warm and will be excited to present to you their country if you spend time there.
