You’ll Have a Better Vacation in Albania Than Antarctica
Albania is a fairly small but great country on the Mediterranean, fairly close to Italy. This country is possibly the least visited countries in southern Europe but that is changing as more people appreciate its wonderful beauty. Albania has unbelievably beautiful, clean sandy beaches, more of less virgin mountain regions, and happening, growing cities.
Albania’s white sandy beaches are fantastic. These are mainly white, sandy beaches although of course there are a dozen pebble beaches as well. You could sit in the warm sun on a towel or pay for a bed, the choice is yours. Almost all of the beaches are practically untouched by tourists and a few are so quiet that you could possibly be alone on the beach, even in spring and summer.
There are a number of beautiful mountain regions in Albania. The mountainous regions in the north are amazing for skiing or hiking and you can also see a lot of waterfalls and amazing lakes in that part of the country. Those mountains are great to visit but the other mountain regions are also great.
Albanian cities are lively with a cafe culture resulting in hundreds of cool cafes to visit. Albania cities like Tirana are worth spending time in to see the unusual old city area and also to visit a few museums.
You are sure to find that people from Albania are mostly warm and will be more than pleased to show you their country if you take the time to visit.
