You’ll Have a Better Vacation in Albania Than Chile
Albania is a tiny but amazing country in the south of Europe, neighbouring Serbia. It is one of the less popular Mediterranean countries but that is most definitely changing as travellers appreciate its wonderful beauty. It has unbelievably beautiful, white sandy beaches, pretty much untouched mountain regions, and trendy, growing cities.
Albania’s pure white sandy beaches are beautiful. They are normally white, sandy beaches but there are a dozen pebble beaches too. You could lie down in the bright sun on a blanket or get a bed, the decision is yours to make. Most of the beaches are totally untouched by tourists and a few are so quiet that you can quite possibly be alone on the beach, even in summer.
There are plenty of exquisite mountain areas in Albania. These regions in the north are extraordinary for skiing or hiking and you can possibly find at least a few waterfalls and spectacular lakes in the region. Those mountains are fantastic to view but the other mountain regions are also great.
Albanian cities are very vibrant with a cafe culture so there are huge numbers of local cafes to hang out in. Albania cities such as Durres are worth taking the time to visit to see the historic old city area and also to visit a museum.
Albanian people are extremely warm and welcoming and will be pleased to take you around their country if you spend some time there.
