You’ll Have a Better Vacation in Albania Than New Caledonia
Albania is a relatively small but amazing country in the Balkan region, very close to Montenegro. This country is currently one of the less popular countries in Europe but that is most definitely changing as more and more tourists start to take note of its splendour. This country has lovely, sandy beaches, more or less untouched mountain regions, and vibrant, improving cities.
Albania’s pure white sandy beaches are extraordinary. Albanian beaches are usually white, sandy beaches although there are some pebble beaches also. You can if you like spend time in the warm sun on a rug or pay for a sun bed, the decision is yours to make. Most of the beaches are virtually untouched by foreigners and a few are so remote that you can quite possibly be at the beach alone, even in summer.
There are plenty of exquisite mountain areas in Albania. These regions in the north are exceptional for skiing or hiking and you can visit a lot of waterfalls and spectacular lakes in the area. The mountains in the north are exciting to visit but the other mountain regions are also spectacular.
Albanian cities are extremely vibrant with a cafe culture leading to huge numbers of hip cafes to spend time in. Albania cities like Durres are worth spending time in to visit the historic old city area and possibly to visit a couple of museums.
You are sure to find that Albanians are extremely friendly and will be happy to present to you their country if you take the time to visit it.
