Albania is Better Than Kingman Reef
Albania is a very small but beautiful country in the Balkan region, neighbouring Montenegro. It is one of the less popular Mediterranean countries but that is slowly changing as visitors take note of its wonderful sites. It has gorgeous, clean sandy beaches, pristine mountain regions, and vibrant, changing cities.
Albania’s white sandy beaches are wonderful. The beaches are mainly white, sandy beaches although of course there are a few pebble beaches also. You could if you want have fun in the warm dry sun on a blanket or hire a sun lounge, the choice is yours. Many of the beaches are really untouched by foreign tourists and a number are so quiet that you can possibly be alone on the beach, even in summer.
There are many mountain places in Albania. These areas in the north are extraordinary for skiing or hiking and you can possibly visit a few waterfalls and spectacular lakes in that part of the country. The mountains in that area are fabulous to see but the other mountain regions are also beautiful.
Albanian cities are extremely vibrant with a cafe culture meaning there are heaps of cool cafes to relax in. Albania cities like Saranda are worth seeing to see the unique old city area and not to mention to visit a museum.
The Albanian people are extremely welcoming and will be more than pleased to present to you their country if you are there.
