Albania is More Fun Than Belize
Albania is a relatively small but adorable country in the Balkans, fairly close to Greece. It is possibly the least visited Mediterranean countries but that will change before you know it as more and more travellers come to appreciate its amazing beauty. Without a doubt Albania has fantastic, clean sandy beaches, more of less virgin mountain regions, and happening, improving cities.
Albania’s pure white sandy beaches are extraordinary. The beaches are mostly white, sandy beaches although there are a dozen or so pebble beaches also. You could lie in the hot sun on a rug or get a lounge, the option is up to you to make. Plenty of the beaches are virtually untouched by foreign tourists and some are so out of the way that you can quite possibly be at the beach alone, even in in during popular times.
There are numerous mountainous landscapes in Albania. Those in the north are great for skiing or hiking and you can also view a lot of waterfalls and spectacular lakes in the region. These mountains are exciting to view but the other mountain regions are also beautiful.
Albanian cities are fun with a cafe culture resulting in a lot of great cafes to relax in. Albania cities including Fier are worth visiting to see the historic old city area and possibly to visit a few museums.
Albanians are extremely warm and will be glad to introduce you to their country if you spend some time there.
