Albania is More Fun Than Saint Kitts and Nevis
Albania is a tiny but great country in the Balkans, very close to Macedonia. Albania is quite possibly the least visited southern European countries but that is changing as more tourists start to take note of its amazing attractions. Without a doubt Albania has beautiful, clean sandy beaches, pristine mountain regions, and trendy, growing cities.
Albania’s white sandy beaches are beautiful. These are usually white, sandy beaches but there are a handful of pebble beaches too. You could if you like sit in the warm sun on a rug or hire a sunbed, the option is up to you. Almost all of the beaches are pretty much untouched by foreign tourists and a few are so remote that you could be at the beach without anyone else, even in August.
There are many beautiful mountain areas in Albania. These areas in the north are amazing for skiing or hiking and you can possibly see a few waterfalls and incredible lakes in the region. The mountains in that region are fantastic to view but the other mountain regions are also brilliant.
Albanian cities are lively with a cafe culture meaning there are plenty of great cafes to spend time in. Albania cities like Durres are worth taking the time to visit to see the unusual old city area and possibly to visit a couple of museums.
You are sure to find that people from Albania are extremely friendly and will be happy to introduce you to their country if you spend time there.
