Albania is a relatively small but great country in the Mediterranean region of Europe, near Macedonia. It is one of the less popular countries in southern Europe but that has already started to change as people start to take notice of its amazing attractions. It has beautiful, clean sandy beaches, virgin mountain regions, and trendy, growing cities.
Albania’s pure white sandy beaches are gorgeous. The beaches are generally white, sandy beaches although of course there are a few pebble beaches as well. You can spend time in the hot dry sun on a rug or lease a sunbed, the choice is up to you to make. A lot of the beaches are totally untouched by tourists and a few are so remote that you could possibly have the beach to yourself, even in August.
There are quite a few exquisite mountain places in Albania. The mountainous regions in the north are lovely for skiing or hiking and you can also view at least a few waterfalls and amazing lakes in the area. The mountains in the north are great to view but the other mountain regions are also fantastic.
Albanian cities are fun with a cafe culture resulting in plenty of cool cafes to relax in. Albania cities including Elbasan are worth seeing to visit the unique old city area and possibly to visit a few museums.
Albanians are extremely warm and welcoming and will be pleased to take you around their country if you take the time to visit.
