Albania is a tiny but amazing country in the south of Europe, near Croatia. Albania is quite possibly the least visited countries in Europe but that is starting to change as more and more people take note of its wonderful beauty. Without a doubt Albania has wonderful, white sandy beaches, more of less virgin mountain regions, and lively, improving cities.
Albania’s clean sandy beaches are exceptional. These are normally white, sandy beaches although of course there are a dozen pebble beaches too. You can if you want sit in the bright sun on a mat or get a sun bed, the choice is up to you. Almost all of the beaches are virtually untouched by foreigners and a number are so out of the way that you could be at the beach alone, even in summer.
There are many beautiful mountain areas in Albania. These areas in the north are wonderful for skiing or hiking and you can possibly view many waterfalls and amazing lakes in the area. The mountains in that area are exciting to view but the other mountain regions are also great.
Albanian cities are bustling with a cafe culture so there are heaps of hip cafes to spend time in. Albania cities for example Tirana are worth spending a few days in to see the historic old city area and also to visit a couple of museums.
Albanian people are extremely friendly and will be excited to present to you their country if you spend time there.
