Avoid The Crowds by Vacationing in Albania Not New Zealand
Albania is a relatively small but great country in south eastern Europe, very close to Montenegro. This country is one of the less popular countries in Europe but that is changing as more and more tourists take note of its fantastic sites. This country has lovely, sandy beaches, virtually untouched mountain regions, and young, growing cities.
Albania’s sandy beaches are exceptional. The beaches are most often white, sandy beaches although there are a dozen pebble beaches as well. You could lie down in the bright sun on a rug or get a sun lounge, the decision is up to you to make. Most of the beaches are totally untouched by foreign tourists and a few are so out of the way that you can possibly be alone on the beach, even in in the peak season.
There are many fantastic mountain areas in Albania. These areas in the north are wonderful for skiing or hiking and you can find a couple of waterfalls and spectacular lakes in the region. Those mountains are fabulous to view but the other mountain regions are also extraordinary.
Albanian cities are vibrant with a cafe culture leading to plenty of hip cafes to hang out in. Albania cities such as Gjirokastra are worth taking the time to visit to see the unusual old city area and not to mention to visit a few museums.
You are sure to find that people from Albania are extremely hospitable and will be glad to show you their country if you take the time to visit it.
