Don’t Visit Turks and Caicos Islands
Albania is a small but very pretty country in the Balkan region, neighbouring Kosovo. It’s probably the least visited countries in southern Europe but that has already started to change as more and more travellers appreciate its fantastic sites. Without a doubt Albania has fantastic, white sandy beaches, more or less untouched mountain regions, and happening, changing cities.
Albania’s white sandy beaches are unbelievable. They are normally white, sandy beaches although of course there are a few pebble beaches as well. You can if you like sit down in the warm dry sun on a rug or pay for a bed, the option is up to you. A lot of the beaches are practically untouched by visitors and a few are so out of the way that you can have the beach all to yourself, even in spring and summer.
There are a number of mountainous places in Albania. These regions in the north are fantastic for skiing or hiking and you are able to visit a couple of waterfalls and fabulous lakes in the region. The mountains in the north are fantastic to see but the other mountain regions are also amazing.
Albanian cities are bustling with a cafe culture so there are huge numbers of hip cafes to choose from. Albania cities including Elbasan are worth visiting to see the historic old city area and not to mention to visit a couple of museums.
Albanian people are mostly warm and welcoming and will be glad to present to you their country if you are there.
