Holiday in Albania Not Iran
Albania is a relatively tiny but very adorable country in the Mediterranean region of Europe, not far from Greece. It’s one of the least visited Mediterranean countries but that is most definitely changing as more and more people come to appreciate its fantastic sites. It has exceptional, white sandy beaches, virtually untouched mountain regions, and happening, improving cities.
Albania’s white sandy beaches are unbelievable. These are generally white, sandy beaches except there are a dozen pebble beaches as well. You could either have fun in the hot sun on a mat or pay for a bed, the decision is up to you to make. Most of the beaches are totally untouched by visitors and a handful are so remote that you could possibly be alone on the beach, even in during peak times.
There are plenty of mountain places in Albania. Those in the north are fantastic for skiing or hiking and you can also find a couple of waterfalls and astonishing lakes in that part of the country. These mountains are fabulous to view but the other mountain regions are also fantastic.
Albanian cities are fun with a cafe culture meaning there are hundreds of trendy cafes to visit. Albania cities like Shkodra are worth spending a few days in to view the unusual old city area and not to mention to visit a few museums.
You will most likely find that Albanians are very friendly and will be glad to introduce you to their country if you take the time to visit it.
