Holiday in Albania Not Pacific Ocean
Albania is a relatively tiny but adorable country in south eastern Europe, not far from Kosovo. Albania is currently one of the less popular Mediterranean countries but that is starting to change as more people become aware of its amazing beauty. This country has wonderful, sandy beaches, virgin mountain regions, and young, growing cities.
Albania’s clean sandy beaches are beautiful. These beaches are mainly white, sandy beaches although of course there are a handful of pebble beaches too. You could either lie down in the bright sun on a blanket or rent a sun lounge, the choice is up to you. Almost all of the beaches are pretty much untouched by tourists and a few are so quiet that you could quite possibly have the beach all to yourself, even in in during popular times.
There are numerous exquisite mountain landscapes in Albania. These areas in the north are wonderful for skiing or hiking and you can also find many waterfalls and spectacular lakes in the area. The mountains in that area are brilliant to visit but the other mountain regions are also great.
Albanian cities are extremely vibrant with a cafe culture leading to hundreds of hip cafes to relax in. Albania cities such as Saranda are worth taking the time to visit to see the unique old city area and possibly to visit a couple of museums.
You are sure to find that Albanians are mostly warm and welcoming and will be glad to present to you their country if you spend some time there.
