I Prefer Albania Over Serbia and Montenegro
Albania is a small but very adorable country on the Mediterranean, very close to Macedonia. Albania is one of the least visited countries in southern Europe but that is changing as more and more visitors appreciate its fantastic attractions. Albania has lovely, white sandy beaches, more or less untouched mountain regions, and bustling, changing cities.
Albania’s pure white sandy beaches are wonderful. These are normally white, sandy beaches although of course there are a dozen or so pebble beaches also. You could if you want lie in the warm sun on a rug or get a sunbed, the choice is up to you. Almost all of the beaches are more or less untouched by visitors and some are so quiet that you can have the beach all to yourself, even in in during popular times.
There are plenty of mountainous regions in Albania. The mountains in the north are absolutely amazing for skiing or hiking and you can also visit many waterfalls and amazing lakes in the region. These mountains are brilliant to visit but the other mountain regions are also spectacular.
Albanian cities are fun with a cafe culture so there are a lot of busy cafes to visit. Albania cities like Durres are worth spending time in to see the unique old city area and not to mention to visit a museum or two.
People from Albania are extremely welcoming and will be excited to show you their country if you take the time to visit.
