You’ll Have a Better Holiday in Albania Than Albania
Albania is a fairly small but cute country in the Balkans, very close to Kosovo. Albania is probably the least visited countries in Europe but that is changing as visitors appreciate its wonderful sites. Albania has extraordinary, sandy beaches, pristine mountain regions, and happening, growing cities.
Albania’s sandy beaches are wonderful. They are normally white, sandy beaches but of course there are a few pebble beaches also. You could either spend time in the bright sun on a rug or lease a sun lounge, the option is up to you. Most of the beaches are practically untouched by visitors and a couple are so out of the way that you can have the beach to yourself, even in during peak times.
There are numerous interesting mountain landscapes in Albania. These regions in the north are ideal for skiing or hiking and you can visit at least a couple of waterfalls and pristine lakes in that part of the country. The mountains in that region are wonderful to view but the other mountain regions are also extraordinary.
Albanian cities are very vibrant with a cafe culture so there are plenty of busy cafes to spend time in. Albania cities including Kukes are worth taking the time to visit to view the historic old city area and not to mention to visit a few museums.
You are sure to find that Albanians are very friendly and will be happy to introduce you to their country if you spend some time there.
