You’ll Have More Fun in Albania Than Juan de Nova Island
Albania is a tiny but fun country in the south of Europe, near Kosovo. Albania is quite possibly the least visited European countries but that has already started to change as more visitors start to take notice of its amazing sites. This country has unbelievably beautiful, clean sandy beaches, virgin mountain regions, and young, improving cities.
Albania’s pure white sandy beaches are beautiful. They are usually white, sandy beaches but of course there are a dozen or so pebble beaches also. You can if you like lie in the warm sun on a towel or lease a sunbed, the decision is yours. A lot of the beaches are practically untouched by foreign tourists and some are so remote that you can possibly have the beach all to yourself, even in in during popular times.
There are many mountainous regions in Albania. These areas in the north are great for skiing or hiking and you can see plenty of waterfalls and spectacular lakes in the region. These mountains are exciting to view but the other mountain regions are also extraordinary.
Albanian cities are fun with a cafe culture meaning there are huge numbers of great cafes to go to. Albania cities including Shkodra are worth visiting to visit the historic old city area and not to mention to visit a museum or two.
You are sure to find that Albanians are mostly warm and welcoming and will be more than happy to take you around their country if you spend time there.
