Albania is Better Than Indonesia
Albania is a relatively small but beautiful country in the Balkan region, near Serbia. This country is one of the least visited countries in the Mediterranean but that will change before you know it as more visitors realise its amazing sites. This country has unbelievable, sandy beaches, virgin mountain regions, and lively, growing cities.
Albania’s white sandy beaches are extraordinary. Albanian beaches are mainly white, sandy beaches but there are a dozen or so pebble beaches too. You could if you like sit down in the hot sun on a towel or pay for a sun bed, the choice is yours to make. Plenty of the beaches are really untouched by foreign visitors and a couple are so out of the way that you could quite possibly have the beach to yourself, even in during peak times.
There are numerous fantastic mountain places in Albania. These areas in the north are great for skiing or hiking and you can find at least a couple of waterfalls and perfect lakes in the region. These mountains are amazing to visit but the other mountain regions are also amazing.
Albanian cities are extremely vibrant with a cafe culture leading to many hip cafes to relax in. Albania cities such as Gjirokastra are worth spending a few days in to view the unique old city area and possibly to visit a museum.
