Albania is Better Than Johnston Atoll
Albania is a little but fun country in the south of Europe, near Montenegro. It is one of the least visited European countries but that is most definitely changing as visitors notice its beauty. Albania has unbelievable, sandy beaches, pretty much untouched mountain regions, and happening, changing cities.
Albania’s pure white sandy beaches are amazing. Albanian beaches are normally white, sandy beaches but there are a dozen pebble beaches too. You can have fun in the hot dry sun on a rug or get a sunbed, the option is yours. A lot of the beaches are totally untouched by foreign visitors and some are so out of the way that you can be alone on the beach, even in August.
There are a number of mountainous areas in Albania. These areas in the north are fantastic for skiing or hiking and you can possibly view at least a few waterfalls and perfect lakes in that part of the country. The mountains in that region are fabulous to visit but the other mountain regions are also brilliant.
Albanian cities are extremely vibrant with a cafe culture leading to plenty of trendy cafes to choose from. Albania cities for example Kukes are worth spending time in to visit the unusual old city area and also to visit a museum or two.
The Albanian people are very friendly and will be more than happy to introduce you to their country if you are there.
