Albania is Better Than Saint Helena
Albania is a very small but amazing country in the south of Europe, not far from Croatia. This country is one of the least visited European countries but that is starting to change as travellers start to appreciate its wonderful attractions. This country has lovely, pure white sandy beaches, pristine mountain regions, and lively, expanding cities.
Albania’s pure white sandy beaches are extraordinary. The beaches are mostly white, sandy beaches although there are a few pebble beaches too. You could if you like sit down in the warm sun on a mat or rent a bed, the choice is up to you. Plenty of the beaches are pretty much untouched by foreign tourists and a few are so remote that you can be alone on the beach, even in spring and summer.
There are numerous fantastic mountain regions in Albania. The mountainous regions in the north are wonderful for skiing or hiking and you can also visit a lot of waterfalls and pristine lakes in that part of the country. The mountains in the north are exciting to see but the other mountain regions are also beautiful.
Albanian cities are vibrant with a cafe culture leading to heaps of cool cafes to choose from. Albania cities including Berat are worth visiting to visit the unusual old city area and possibly to visit a few museums.
