Avoid The Crowds by Holidaying in Albania Not Belgium

Albania is a fairly small but adorable country in the Mediterranean region of Europe, close to Serbia. It is probably the least visited countries in Europe but that will change before you know it as more travellers become aware of its fantastic attractions. This country has extraordinary, pure white sandy beaches, more of less virgin mountain regions, and vibrant, improving cities.

Albania’s white sandy beaches are gorgeous. These are normally white, sandy beaches except there are a dozen pebble beaches also. You could if you like sit in the hot dry sun on a blanket or rent a sunbed, the choice is up to you. A lot of the beaches are pretty much untouched by visitors and a handful are so quiet that you could possibly have the beach pretty much all to yourself, even in during peak times.

There are numerous fantastic mountain regions in Albania. The mountainous regions in the north are fantastic for skiing or hiking and you are able to see at least a few waterfalls and pristine lakes in that part of the country. Those mountains are fabulous to view but the other mountain regions are also fantastic.

Albanian cities are extremely vibrant with a cafe culture resulting in hundreds of local cafes to spend time in. Albania cities for example Kukes are worth spending a few days in to see the unique old city area and also to visit a few museums.

The Albanian people are extremely hospitable and will be more than glad to introduce you to their country if you take the time to visit it.
