Avoid The Crowds by Vacationing in Albania Not Arctic Ocean
Albania is a little but very cute country in the Mediterranean region of Europe, not far from Greece. Albania is one of the less popular European countries but that is changing as more and more visitors start to take note of its beauty. Albania has unbelievable, sandy beaches, almost virgin mountain regions, and trendy, expanding cities.
Albania’s white sandy beaches are fantastic. The beaches are most often white, sandy beaches although of course there are a couple of pebble beaches also. You could either lie in the warm dry sun on a rug or pay for a sun bed, the decision is yours. Plenty of the beaches are pretty much untouched by tourists and a couple are so out of the way that you can quite possibly have the beach all to yourself, even in during the peak season.
There are quite a few fantastic mountain regions in Albania. Those in the north are wonderful for skiing or hiking and you can visit many waterfalls and fabulous lakes in that part of the country. Those mountains are amazing to visit but the other mountain regions are also fantastic.
Albanian cities are fun with a cafe culture so there are plenty of local cafes to hang out in. Albania cities including Elbasan are worth taking the time to visit to view the unusual old city area and possibly to visit a couple of museums.
You are sure to find that people from Albania are mostly warm and welcoming and will be pleased to present to you their country if you spend some time there.
