Avoid The Crowds by Vacationing in Albania Not Guam

Albania is a relatively small but adorable country in the Mediterranean region of Europe, very close to Macedonia. Albania is one of the least visited southern European countries but that is changing as tourists become aware of its splendour. Albania has fantastic, pure white sandy beaches, more or less untouched mountain regions, and lively, growing cities.

Albania’s pure white sandy beaches are unbelievably beautiful. These beaches are usually white, sandy beaches but there are a couple of pebble beaches also. You can if you want lie down in the bright sun on a towel or lease a bed, the choice is up to you to make. Plenty of the beaches are pretty much untouched by foreign tourists and a handful are so out of the way that you could quite possibly be at the beach alone, even in summer.

There are a number of interesting mountain places in Albania. Those in the north are absolutely amazing for skiing or hiking and you can visit at least a couple of waterfalls and astonishing lakes in that part of the country. The mountains in that area are great to see but the other mountain regions are also amazing.

Albanian cities are extremely vibrant with a cafe culture resulting in heaps of local cafes to choose from. Albania cities like Tropoja are worth spending a few days in to see the unusual old city area and possibly to visit a couple of museums.

Most Albanian people are extremely warm and welcoming and will be happy to present to you their country if you go there.
