Avoid The Crowds by Vacationing in Albania Not Kazakhstan

Albania is a relatively small but fantastic country in south eastern Europe, not far from Kosovo. It’s quite possibly the least visited southern European countries but that is most definitely changing as travellers appreciate its wonderful beauty. This country has exceptional, sandy beaches, almost virgin mountain regions, and vibrant, improving cities.

Albania’s sandy beaches are lovely. These beaches are most often white, sandy beaches but of course there are a dozen pebble beaches also. You can either sit in the hot sun on a blanket or hire a sun lounge, the option is up to you to make. Many of the beaches are really untouched by foreign visitors and a handful are so quiet that you could have the beach pretty much to yourself, even in summer.

There are numerous beautiful mountain places in Albania. The mountainous regions in the north are perfect for skiing or hiking and you can possibly find at least a few waterfalls and spectacular lakes in that part of the country. Those mountains are brilliant to visit but the other mountain regions are also fantastic.

Albanian cities are bustling with a cafe culture so there are hundreds of hip cafes to hang out in. Albania cities for example Vlora are worth visiting to view the unusual old city area and also to visit a museum.

Most Albanian people are mostly friendly and will be happy to show you around their country if you take the time to visit it.
