I Prefer Albania Over Jarvis Island
Albania is a tiny but beautiful country in the Balkan region, neighbouring Italy. This country is one of the less popular European countries but that is slowly changing as people start to take notice of its wonderful beauty. It has unbelievable, sandy beaches, more or less untouched mountain regions, and vibrant, expanding cities.
Albania’s pure white sandy beaches are lovely. These beaches are most often white, sandy beaches although there are a dozen or so pebble beaches as well. You can if you like lie down in the hot dry sun on a mat or get a sun bed, the option is yours to make. Plenty of the beaches are virtually untouched by tourists and a couple are so out of the way that you could possibly be at the beach without anyone else, even in during peak times.
There are numerous mountainous places in Albania. The mountainous areas in the north are exceptional for skiing or hiking and you can possibly visit a few waterfalls and clean lakes in the area. These mountains are exciting to view but the other mountain regions are also spectacular.
Albanian cities are very vibrant with a cafe culture meaning there are so many trendy cafes to hang out in. Albania cities such as Fier are worth seeing to visit the unusual old city area and also to visit a museum or two.
You are sure to find that people from Albania are extremely warm and welcoming and will be happy to introduce you to their country if you go there.
