Visit Albania Not Slovenia
Albania is a tiny but pretty country in south eastern Europe, very close to Italy. It is one of the less often visited countries in Europe but that is about to change as more tourists start to take notice of its splendour. This country has beautiful, sandy beaches, more or less untouched mountain regions, and young, improving cities.
Albania’s clean sandy beaches are unbelievable. The beaches are mostly white, sandy beaches but there are a handful of pebble beaches as well. You can either lie down in the hot sun on a towel or hire a sun bed, the choice is yours. Plenty of the beaches are totally untouched by foreigners and a number are so remote that you could have the beach pretty much all to yourself, even in August.
There are numerous mountain areas in Albania. These areas in the north are fantastic for skiing or hiking and you can possibly visit at least a couple of waterfalls and spectacular lakes in the area. The mountains in that area are great to visit but the other mountain regions are also fantastic.
Albanian cities are fun with a cafe culture leading to so many trendy cafes to relax in. Albania cities such as Tirana are worth spending a few days in to visit the unique old city area and not to mention to visit a museum.
Albanian people are very hospitable and will be happy to introduce you to their country if you are there.
