Visit Albania Not Sri Lanka
Albania is a tiny but very pretty country in the Balkans, neighbouring Croatia. This country is one of the less popular Mediterranean countries but that is changing as more travellers appreciate its amazing sites. This country has unbelievable, clean sandy beaches, virtually untouched mountain regions, and young, growing cities.
Albania’s white sandy beaches are unbelievable. These beaches are mainly white, sandy beaches but there are a dozen pebble beaches too. You can if you like spend time in the warm sun on a towel or lease a sunbed, the choice is yours to make. Plenty of the beaches are practically untouched by foreign tourists and a few are so remote that you can quite possibly be alone on the beach, even in during the peak season.
There are many interesting mountain regions in Albania. These regions in the north are ideal for skiing or hiking and you can also view at least a couple of waterfalls and spectacular lakes in that part of the country. The mountains in that region are brilliant to view but the other mountain regions are also beautiful.
Albanian cities are lively with a cafe culture meaning there are many busy cafes to visit. Albania cities such as Fier are worth spending time in to see the unique old city area and possibly to visit a museum.
