Visit Albania Not Yemen
Albania is a tiny but beautiful country in south eastern Europe, very close to Montenegro. This country is probably the least visited Mediterranean countries but that is changing as travellers appreciate its amazing beauty. This country has amazing, sandy beaches, pretty much untouched mountain regions, and happening, expanding cities.
Albania’s pure white sandy beaches are beautiful. Albanian beaches are normally white, sandy beaches but of course there are a dozen pebble beaches as well. You can if you want hang out in the bright sun on a blanket or get a lounge, the choice is up to you. Almost all of the beaches are practically untouched by visitors and some are so out of the way that you could possibly be at the beach alone, even in during the peak season.
There are quite a few mountain places in Albania. Those in the north are ideal for skiing or hiking and you can visit many waterfalls and incredible lakes in the region. Those mountains are exciting to view but the other mountain regions are also extraordinary.
Albanian cities are extremely vibrant with a cafe culture leading to plenty of busy cafes to relax in. Albania cities such as Berat are worth spending a few days in to view the unique old city area and also to visit a couple of museums.
You will most likely find that Albanians are mostly welcoming and will be happy to introduce you to their country if you take the time to visit it.
