Visiting Albania is Better Than Visiting Northern Mariana Islands
Albania is a tiny but amazing country in the south of Europe, very close to Croatia. Albania is possibly the least visited European countries but that is changing as travellers become aware of its fantastic sites. This country has wonderful, pure white sandy beaches, more of less virgin mountain regions, and fun, expanding cities.
Albania’s pure white sandy beaches are extraordinary. Albanian beaches are mainly white, sandy beaches but of course there are a couple of pebble beaches also. You could if you want lie down in the hot sun on a blanket or get a bed, the option is yours. Plenty of the beaches are totally untouched by visitors and a few are so out of the way that you could quite possibly be at the beach without anyone else, even in summer.
There are quite a few exquisite mountain areas in Albania. The mountainous regions in the north are amazing for skiing or hiking and you can view many waterfalls and fabulous lakes in that part of the country. These mountains are brilliant to view but the other mountain regions are also brilliant.
Albanian cities are extremely lively with a cafe culture meaning there are hundreds of trendy cafes to spend time in. Albania cities like Fier are worth taking the time to visit to view the unusual old city area and also to visit a museum.
You will most likely find that Albanians are very friendly and will be excited to show you around their country if you take the time to visit.
