Visiting Albania is Better Than Visiting Rwanda
Albania is a little but pretty country in the Balkans, very close to Kosovo. This country is quite possibly the least visited countries in Europe but that is changing as more and more tourists realise its wonderful attractions. Without a doubt Albania has lovely, clean sandy beaches, pretty much untouched mountain regions, and fun, growing cities.
Albania’s pure white sandy beaches are lovely. Albanian beaches are generally white, sandy beaches except there are a few pebble beaches as well. You can hang out in the bright sun on a mat or lease a lounge, the option is up to you to make. Plenty of the beaches are pretty much untouched by foreign visitors and a number are so remote that you could quite possibly be alone on the beach, even in in the peak season.
There are a number of interesting mountain areas in Albania. The mountainous regions in the north are lovely for skiing or hiking and you can see a couple of waterfalls and spectacular lakes in the area. Those mountains are fantastic to visit but the other mountain regions are also amazing.
Albanian cities are very vibrant with a cafe culture so there are hundreds of hip cafes to go to. Albania cities including Gjirokastra are worth spending time in to see the historic old city area and not to mention to visit a museum.
Albanians are mostly warm and welcoming and will be more than happy to introduce you to their country if you spend some time there.
