Why I Prefer Albania Over Cyprus
Albania is a fairly small but fun country in southern Europe, very close to Italy. This country is one of the less popular European countries but that is slowly changing as tourists start to take notice of its amazing beauty. Without a doubt Albania has gorgeous, white sandy beaches, virtually untouched mountain regions, and vibrant, improving cities.
Albania’s clean sandy beaches are fantastic. These beaches are generally white, sandy beaches although there are a dozen pebble beaches as well. You can if you like hang out in the warm dry sun on a towel or get a sun bed, the choice is yours to make. Almost all of the beaches are totally untouched by foreigners and a handful are so out of the way that you can quite possibly have the beach to yourself, even in during peak times.
There are plenty of interesting mountain landscapes in Albania. Those in the north are lovely for skiing or hiking and you are able to view a lot of waterfalls and astonishing lakes in the region. The mountains in the north are wonderful to view but the other mountain regions are also amazing.
Albanian cities are vibrant with a cafe culture leading to so many trendy cafes to visit. Albania cities like Vlora are worth visiting to view the unusual old city area and possibly to visit a museum or two.
Without a doubt you will find that Albanians are very hospitable and will be pleased to take you around their country if you spend time there.
