Why I Prefer Albania Over Monaco
Albania is a relatively small but pretty country in the Balkan region, not far from Italy. It is currently one of the less popular countries in southern Europe but that is changing as tourists start to take notice of its amazing beauty. Albania has unbelievably beautiful, white sandy beaches, pretty much untouched mountain regions, and happening, expanding cities.
Albania’s sandy beaches are gorgeous. Albanian beaches are mostly white, sandy beaches except there are a couple of pebble beaches as well. You could if you want lie in the hot sun on a blanket or pay for a sun bed, the choice is yours. Plenty of the beaches are practically untouched by foreign tourists and a number are so quiet that you could be alone on the beach, even in spring and summer.
There are quite a few mountain areas in Albania. The mountainous regions in the north are wonderful for skiing or hiking and you can also view a few waterfalls and perfect lakes in the region. The mountains in that region are brilliant to visit but the other mountain regions are also amazing.
Albanian cities are extremely lively with a cafe culture leading to many cool cafes to relax in. Albania cities including Vlora are worth seeing to view the unique old city area and also to visit a few museums.
Without a doubt you will find that Albanians are mostly welcoming and will be excited to introduce you to their country if you spend some time there.
