Albania is a very small but cute country in the Balkan region, not too far from Macedonia. Albania is one of the less popular countries in the Mediterranean but that has already started to change as more tourists realise its amazing attractions. Albania has unbelievably beautiful, clean sandy beaches, more of less virgin mountain regions, and happening, growing cities.
Albania’s sandy beaches are beautiful. These beaches are mainly white, sandy beaches but there are a few pebble beaches too. You could either sit in the hot sun on a mat or lease a sun lounge, the option is yours. Plenty of the beaches are practically untouched by visitors and a few are so out of the way that you can quite possibly be alone on the beach, even in spring and summer.
There are numerous interesting mountain landscapes in Albania. The mountainous regions in the north are extraordinary for skiing or hiking and you are able to visit at least a few waterfalls and perfect lakes in the region. Those mountains are fabulous to visit but the other mountain regions are also brilliant.
Albanian cities are bustling with a cafe culture meaning there are many cool cafes to choose from. Albania cities such as Saranda are worth spending time in to view the historic old city area and not to mention to visit a museum or two.
Albanians are mostly welcoming and will be pleased to present to you their country if you take the time to visit.
